Seller accounts on Liquid8 do not have the ability to place bids. We do this to provide bidders with peace of mind knowing that sellers cannot intentionally inflate bids.
For Consignors
Consignors of items on Liquid8 are prohibited from bidding on items they have consigned to Liquid8 and its affiliates. As a consignor, you represent and warrant that you will not engage in shill bidding. Shill bidding happens when anyone (including family, agents, friends, employees, or online acquaintances) bids on an item with the intent to artificially increase its price or desirability, usually on behalf of the consignor. Consignors that are found to have partaken in bidding on their own items, will be removed from the Liquid8 marketplace, reported to the appropriate governing body, and in select cases the civil authorities.
